61st Sir Kedarnath Das Memorial Oration

61st Sir Kedarnath Das Memorial Oration was held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Gynae Seminar Room, R G Kar Medical College, Kolkata. The oration was delivered by Mr Pat O’Brien, Governance Director, Women’s Health, University College London Hospitals & Chair, Medical Advisory Committee, Portland Hospital for Women & Children, London on “Recent Advances in the Management of PPH”. A total of 118 doctors from in and around Kolkata attended the academic meet. The session was chaired by Prof Sudhir Adhikari, President, BOGS and Dr Basab Mukherjee, Hony Secretary, BOGS.

2nd Clinical Meeting

The 2nd Clinical Meeting of the year 2018-19 was held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Gynae Seminar Room, R G Kar Medical College, Kolkata. A total of 118 doctors from in and around Kolkata attended the academic meet.

There were two case presentations by Dr Olympia Bose, Post Graduate Trainee, R G Kar presented “Secondary PPH following Caesarean Section – An Obstetrician’s Nightmare” and Dr Ishba Najam, Post Graduate Trainee, R G Kar presented “Surgical Emphysema Following Laparotomy in a 13 Year Girl with Germ Cell Tumour”. The chairpersons for the session were Dr Arup Kumar Majhi and Dr Amitava Das.
