Public Awareness Programme on Adolescence Health issues were confined on 10 basic issues with special emphasis on Menstrual hygiene, Nutrition, White discharge, Endometriosis, PCOS, Ca Cx prevention with vaccine etc . Another ,a bit different & controversial but highly applauded area of discussion was on sex education for both boys & girls, contraception and how to avoid ‘falling prey to sexual disasters’. All the sessions were held in question answer format with power point presentation for 45 -60 minutes, followed by interactions with the students & teachers. Altogether 1750 girl students from class VIII –XII with their Principal & teachers had attended and interacted with BOGS faculties. In fact everywhere we were flooded with interesting questions and earnestly requested by Principal/Headmistress to conduct similar session/special sessions for teachers only in the same and nearby schools with more time.

Lastly the devotion to this type of PA program by BOGS faculty members is highly encouraging.
