CME on “Beyond the Sunshine: Decoding Vitamin D in Women”

In the first session, Chaired by Dr Tulika Jha and Dr Avishek Bhadra, featured an insightful talk by Dr Queen Aditya on “Vitamin D Deficiency & Menopause: Clinical Insights.”
The second Session, comprised a panel discussion on “Role of Vitamin D in Pregnancy,” moderated by Dr Sebanti Goswami and Dr Seetha Ramamurthy Pal.
The panelists — Dr Alpana Chhetri, Dr Barun Chakraborty, Dr Bratati Bhattacharyya, Dr Dhruba Ray, and Dr Sunabba Kumar Ghosh — shared practical perspectives, evidence-based recommendations, and addressed key clinical dilemmas, making the discussion highly interactive and relevant.
The CME witnessed enthusiastic participation from members and postgraduate trainees, reflecting the growing interest in optimizing micronutrient management in women’s health.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr Sebanti Goswami, Hony Joint Secretary, BOGS with special mention of Sanofi, the academic partner.
