Half day Hands-on Obstetric Skills Workshop NRS Medical College, Kolkata

There were 4 stations:

• Surgical Management of PPH
• MVA and IUCD Insertion
• Instrumental Vaginal Delivery
• Obstetric Manoeuvres

Dr Ashis Kumar Mukhopadhyay, Dr Sharmistha Ganguly, Dr Mini Sengupta, Dr Ramprasad Dey, Dr Anuvati Nag, Dr Avishek Bhadra, Dr Tulika Jha and Dr Krishnendu Goswami attended  as faculties.

Fifty PGTs from CSS, IPGMER, NRS and CNMC attended the workshop.

The whole programme was very well organised by the Ob-Gyn team of NRS, headed by Prof Runa Bal.

Few PGTs gave feed back and wanted more such workshops in the future and also on gynaecological surgery and management of OASI.
