The first FOGSI REACH CME on AUB

Date: 31st March, 2026, Venue: Peerless Hotel, Kolkata, Organized by FOGSI with BOGS

Dr MM Samsuzzoha, President, BOGS welcomed the audience and inaugurated the programme with senior BOGS members and faculty.

As per norm of the REACH CME, a recorded welcome message by Dr Bhaskar Pal, President FOGSI and message by Dr Meenu Agarwal, VP in charge were played.

In the first session, Dr Sanjib Dutta, Dr Dibyendu Banerjee and Dr Jayita Chakrabarti spoke on Classification and Investigation of AUB, Medical Management and Postmenopausal bleeding respectively.

The second session was on Hysterectomy and Various Routes followed by another talk on Conservative  Surgery in AUB which were both delivered by Dr Sampathkumari.

The last talk was by Dr Sailakshmi Dayaani who spoke on very practical issues of LNG-IUS and how to manage various patient complains associated with it.

 

The sessions were chaired by Dr Poushali Sanyal, Dr Seetha Ramamurthy Pal, Dr Ramprasad Dey, Dr Bidisha Roychowdhury and Dr Susmita Chattopadhyay.

We were also very pleasantly surprised by the presence of our FOGSI President, Dr Bhaskar Pal who felicitated the faculty at the end of the programme.
