P.A.P on “Early Adulthood & Beyond”

Public Awareness Program of BOGS on “Early Adulthood & Beyond” was held on August 29, 2018 in the premier institution, The Presidency University, Kolkata for the first time. In spite of all odds among students on the previous day the program could be made possible by earnest efforts of the Dean of the institution and the HOD of Life Science who offered the welcome address to the audience.

The program was moderated by Dr Pradip Kumar Mitra, Past President and well covered by the eminent panelists who were Dr Suranjan Chakrabarti, Dr Saktirupa Chakraborty, Dr Abinash Chandra Ray, Dr Nirmala Pipara & Dr Bipasa Sen. 

Awareness on various habits and diseases along with psychosexual areas relevant for both boys and girls were discussed in detail with vibrant interactions with the audience. Most interesting questions came from the girls compared to boys who were a bit timid. Girls were more attentive in understanding the anatomy & physiology of reproductive organs of both sexes and eager to know how to avoid unwanted reproductive/psychosexual outcome. As per request of Dean the entire program was recorded for future teaching in that institution. This programme of BOGS would remain in the Presidency University archive forever. Further from SITI Metro Channel the program was telecasted later and would be done so from time to time in their Health Issues Slots.
