CME on Iron Deficiency Anemia

The Bengal Obstetric and Gynecological Society organized a CME on Iron deficiency Anemia along with the academic partner Emcure at Taj Vivanta on 21st November , 2025.

The welcome address was given by president  Dr M M Samsuzzoha.

Dr Kushagradhi Ghosh spoke on IDA: challenges in Management. The session was chaired by Dr Ashis Kumar Mukhopadhyay, Dr Jayanta Kumar Gupta and Dr Sukanta Misra.

This was followed by a panel discussion on IDA : across a Women's life Cycle from Menarche to Menopause moderated by Dr Biswajyoti  Guha and Dr Mahua Bhattacharya. The panelists were Dr Ritwik Ghosh Halder, Dr Soumyajit Pal, Dr Bratati Bhattacharya, Dr Nita Roy and Dr Bidisha Roy Choudhury.
