2nd Dr Mahamaya Sarkar Memorial Oration

The 2nd Mahamaya Sarkar Memorial Oration was held in IPGMER and SSKM GLT on the 4th floor December.Prof. Amar Bhide, a  Fetal Medicine specialist from St George's Hospital, University of London, UK was the orator and he spoke on  "Preventing Term Still Birth: Does Fetal size Really Matter?"

This was followed by a case based discussion moderated by Dr Susmita Chattopadhyay  and Dr Tulika Jha where PGTS from Medical College, RGKar and IPGMER presented short cases on PAS,HDP, FGR, PPROM and Preterm Labour.They interacted with Prof Bhide who was the Expert in that session. and also answered questions from the audience.
