BOGSCON 49

The Annual Conference of the Bengal Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society, 49th BOGSCON, was organized by the Bengal Obstetric and Gynaecological Society from December 19th to 21st, 2025, at ITC Royal Bengal.

The conference started on the first day with workshops. There were 3 workshops, namely the Workshop on Obstetrics Skills, Workshop on Fetal Medicine, and Workshop on Subfertility.

There were 5 panel discussions: Adnexal SOLs in Adolescents, Maternal Near Miss, Managing Pregnancies with Previous Adverse Outcomes, AUB Across Ages, and Managing Complications during MIS

 

Symposium Topics Included: Urogynaecology, Benign Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Gynaecological Oncology, Medical Disorders in Pregnancy, High Risk Pregnancy, Obstetrics, Innovations in Women’s Health, Medicolegal & Ethical Issues in Ob & Gyn

 

Three Capsule sessions: Gynaecology, Mixed Bag, Obstetrics

There were - 24 Case Reports, 47 Free papers, 54 Posters – A total of 125 submissions

In the evening, a cultural extravaganza was organized which was an in-house talent show. Doctors from Kolkata and Districts made the evening colourful by various solo and group songs, recitation, solo dances and group folk dances, and solo song with guitar performance.

 

The conference was attended by a total of 851 delegates.
