Cultural Programs to celebrate Rabindra Jayanti

 

On May 9, 2025, a grand cultural programme was held at Rang Manch, Swabhumi, to commemorate Rabindra Jayanti and pay tribute to the legacy of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore.

 

The event showcased the remarkable in-house talent of the society, with over 40 members participating in a vibrant array of performances. The celebration featured soulful songs—both solo and duet—graceful solo and group dances, evocative recitations, and a short theatrical presentation. The entire programme was artistically choreographed by Dr. Basudeb Mukherjee, whose vision brought depth and coherence to the tribute.

 

With an enthusiastic audience of 270 in attendance, the event was not only a celebration of Tagore’s timeless work but also a testament to the community’s cultural richness and unity.
