Barsha Baran

To celebrate the arrival of the Bengali New Year, a vibrant Barsha Baran programme was held on April 14, 2025, at Stadel, Salt Lake.

 

The evening featured a rich tapestry of cultural performances that blended classical tradition with melodic finesse. Acclaimed flutist Anirban Roy captivated the audience with his soulful renditions, followed by a melodious performance by classical vocalist Maitrayee Roy. The rhythm and depth of the event were elevated by tabla maestro Subhadra Kalyan, whose dynamic performance added a mesmerizing dimension to the celebration.

 

The event welcomed 145 attendees, including families, making it a warm and festive gathering that honoured the spirit of the season through music and community.
