Public Awareness Programme & Health Camp on Cervical Cancer & HPV
Health Camp & Public Awareness Program
A health camp and public awareness programme was held on June 29, 2025, at Amrapali Banquets, Kolkata, in partnership with the Kolkata Menopause Society and the Serum Institute of India. The event focused on enhancing health awareness among women, particularly regarding preventable conditions and nutritional deficiencies.
Expert faculty Dr. Nirmala Pipara, Dr. Bipasa Sen, and Dr. Queen Aditya led engaging sessions on anaemia, nutrition, menstrual hygiene, cervical cancer, and the importance of HPV vaccination.
The programme also included diagnostic services such as haemoglobin (Hb), random blood sugar (RBS), and bone mineral density (BMD) testing. In addition, free medicines—including iron and calcium supplements, deworming tablets, and multivitamins—were distributed to participants.
A total of 50 beneficiaries received both clinical and educational support through this initiative, making it a meaningful contribution to women's health and preventive care in the urban community.
