An engaging academic session was held on June 16, 2025, at The Park, Kolkata, with P&G Health as the academic partner.

 

The event featured a series of focused talks on critical issues in women's health. Dr. Subhash Chandra Biswas opened the session with a presentation on “Micronutrients for Iron Deficiency Anaemia (IDA)”, highlighting the pivotal role of micronutrient supplementation in addressing widespread anaemia. Dr. Sukanta Misra followed with an insightful discussion on “Postpartum Haemorrhage”, emphasizing evidence-based strategies for prevention and management. The final talk, “Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB) in Adolescents”, was delivered by Dr. Sajal Datta, who shed light on diagnostic challenges and tailored treatment approaches for this age group.

 

The session was chaired by Dr. Basab Mukherjee and Dr. Amit Basu, whose expertise ensured a dynamic and well-curated academic exchange. The program witnessed commendable attendance of about 86 participants, reflecting strong interest from the medical community in these vital topics.
